Ann Zimmer

What she is up to now:

Ann is currently living in Denver, CO and is working as the Coordinator for the Office of Marriage and Family Life for the Archdiocese of Denver.  She loves all that Colorado has to offer with her family nearby and the mountains only a short drive away.   Ann continues to feel a strong call to evangelize the culture for Christ, particularly among the young adults in Denver.  She meets weekly with other young women in Denver who are striving to build strong community and challenge each other to live faithfully for Christ in every circumstance of their lives. 

How has FOCUS impacted her life:

“My years of involvement with FOCUS, both in college and as a full-time missionary, have greatly influenced and formed me into the person I am today.  Before being introduced to FOCUS I was unsure of myself and lacked the confidence to fully embrace and share my Catholic faith with others.  During my time in FOCUS I was deeply moved by the love for Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church that all of the staff members seemed to hold in common.  This was something I wanted for myself and since then my life has never been the same.  I am grateful for all of the ways that FOCUS has impacted my life, but the thing I am most grateful for is the way that I was challenged to truly develop a relationship with Jesus Christ and fully embrace and love all that the Catholic Church holds to be true.  I now realize that my faith is not something that I can keep in my pocket for when it is convenient but it is something that should impact every thought, every action, and every decision that I make.  My years of involvement with FOCUS were invaluable and for this I will be eternally grateful!” ~Ann Zimmer
