Christie served as a missionary at North Dakota State University (Fargo, ND) during the 2004-2006 school years.

What she’s up to now:

Christie is working on her Master's Degree in Evangelization & Catechesis at the Augustine Institute in Denver, CO.

How FOCUS impacted her life: 

“Serving as a FOCUS missionary was a wonderful experience.  The biggest things that I will take from my experience are 1) Prayer - God is amazing and spending time with Him in prayer is the heart of our very being.  This has had and will continue to have an incredible impact on my life.  2) Knowledge - learning about the depth and beauty of our Catholic faith has been wonderful.  I want to share with everyone how cool it is to be Catholic.  3) People - The friendships that I have made through my time in FOCUS are relationships that have challenged me to grow into a better version of myself and are friendships that have brought me incredible love and joy.  They are friendships that will last far beyond my time with FOCUS.”  ~Christie Steffel
