Elizabeth (Waller) Kuetemeyer

Where she served as a FOCUS missionary:

What she is up to now:

Elizabeth was married to Christopher Kuetemeyer in April 2006 and they are expecting their first child in February 2007.  For the past year, Elizabeth was employed at the Archdiocese of Denver within the Communications Office as an Executive Assistant.  She is now very excited to be home fulltime to nurture the life God has blessed her and her husband with.

How FOCUS impacted her life:

“Without FOCUS, I would not be the woman that I am today!   In college, I really struggled to live out my Catholic faith.  When I became involved in FOCUS my senior year, my love and excitement for my Catholic faith deepened.  It only continued growing as I was asked to become a missionary and served on college campuses for four years.  My life was turned upside- in a good way- as I was challenged to grow spiritually and work alongside other holy and faithful Catholics.  I fell deeper in love with the Eucharist and the Sacraments as I started attending weekday Mass more frequently, participated in daily Holy Hours, prayed the rosary regularly and took more seriously reading of the Scriptures.  I was prepared for my vocation and given a foundation that will be vital in the family that we have started to build.  I have also made friendships that will never die.  Without FOCUS, I am not sure where I would be in my life right now- I might not have been a practicing Catholic.  Words can not express the deep gratitude and appreciation for FOCUS, both for the joys and struggles within my missionary years.” ~ Elizabeth Kuetemeyer
