My Story
Growing up in a practicing Catholic family, I never questioned whether or not I would be attending Sunday Mass, praying before meals, or saying my prayers before bedtime. However, as I grew up, I began to realize that there were a lot of questions resting on my heart about why I bothered doing any of these actions and ritual behaviors.

Thankfully, I had a strong group of friends in my high school youth group, whom with I began to search for these answers. The desire to know and understand more deeply about the Catholic faith only grew within me.

Upon entering college as a freshman at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, I immediately joined a sorority with the hopes of making lifelong friendships with women I could call my sisters. It was through Alpha Xi Delta that I joined my first FOCUS Bible Study, which was lead by one of my friends in the pledge class ahead of me. It was through this study that I grew to know the women in my house, began to build strong Christ-centered friendships with fellow Catholics at UNL's Newman Center, and where my faith truly became my own.

It was during my time at UNL that I came to realize the importance of the persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I began to grow in relation with members of the Most Holy Trinity, rather than just knowing doctrinal truths. I began to lead my own FOCUS Bible study in my Greek house as a sophomore, continuing to do so for the remainder of my time as a student at UNL. I was blessed to be able to learn, serve, and pray with many Greek and non Greek women on my campus.

My Mission
Now, as I begin my journey preparing for Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I will be serving as a full time missionary with FOCUS. I am so thrilled to be able to continue introducing young women to Christ as well as leading other women into a deeper relationship with the members of the Holy Trinity. I also invite you to join me in my journey! A beautiful motto of FOCUS is that "some give by going, while others go by giving." Not all of us are capable of physically stepping foot on and ministering on a campus. Therefore, I ask that you prayerfully consider supporting me in my mission as I go out and do as Christ commanded when he said to go out and make disciples of all nations. I invite you to join me through giving of your treasure as well as your prayer, while I give of my time in this beautiful adventure our Loving Lord has invited me to be part. Thank you for your prayerful consideration and know that I am praying for you as well as your family!
