The Mission

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always to the end of the age." - MT 28: 19-20

I have the honor of serving this commission from Jesus himself through the FOCUS events team, where as a team we plan events to facilitate encounters with Christ. SEEK is a gathering for thousands to come together and encounter God and the truth. As a missionary on campus, I saw the power these conferences had in students life to help facilitate that encounter. New Staff Training for our missionary staff is the place where they prepare before being launched fully into mission.

I am only on mission because of the generous support of others, consider joining my team and helping share the light of Christ with the world!

My Encounter with FOCUS

I came to know FOCUS during my own time in college, and I can tell you that my life has been forever changed. I was very involved in school through out the four years I was there, joining Greek life and a dance club my freshmen year, as well as holding various leadership positions and jobs on campus. Since I was so busy, I felt that I had little or no time to devote to God, and none of my friends were going to church either so I did not feel that I needed to go. As I was traveling the world through studying abroad, I started realizing just how blessed I was, and at the same time how empty those blessings were when I didn't thank God for them. In my senior year I came into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through Julie, the campus missionary that was placed at my campus. She reached out to me, encouraged me, supported me, and taught me through bible studies and one-on-one mentorship. It was through her support that I came into the fullness of my faith and I was so inspired that I decided I wanted to offer that support to others.
